A BOB USHER from the 1952 TOPPS set, card #157. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO CUBS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 2 This card is heavily impacted by significant physical damage, specifically a large tear and paper loss at the Top Right corner and edge. While the rest of the card retains decent color and detail for its age, this major defect along with the severe horizontal centering shift limits the overall condition. Centering: 3 / 10 The front image is heavily shifted toward the right, resulting in a very narrow right border. The vertical centering is moderately shifted toward the top. Corners: 2 / 10 Front: The Top Right corner has a significant piece of material missing due to a tear. The other three corners show minor softening and wear typical for the era. Back: The Top Left corner (corresponding to the front tear) shows significant paper loss. The remaining corners exhibit moderate softening. Edges: 2 / 10 Front: The Top edge is severely impacted by the tear near the right corner. The Left and Bottom edges show standard vintage wear with minor chipping. Back: The Top edge shows material loss consistent with the front-side tear. The other edges show expected wear for a card of this age. Surface: 2 / 10 Front: The surface is marred by major paper loss at the Top Right. The rest of the surface shows some minor print marks and faint age toning.
