A GENE HERMANSKI from the 1952 TOPPS set, card #16. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO CUBS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 5 This vintage card is primarily limited by moderate corner wear, specifically a noticeable ding on the bottom left corner, and significant edge chipping. The centering is also substantially offset on both sides, though the physical wear to the corners and edges is the primary factor in the final assessment. Centering: 6 / 10 The front displays a heavy horizontal shift to the right and a moderate vertical shift toward the top. Corners: 4 / 10 Front: The Bottom Left corner has a visible ding and moderate rounding. The other corners show minor touches of wear and micro-fuzzing. Back: Whitening and slight rounding are present on all four corners, with the Bottom Right showing the most significant wear. Edges: 6 / 10 Front: Chipping and minor fraying are visible along the Top and Right edges, where the white card stock is exposed. Back: The edges show consistent micro-chipping and minor nicks along the perimeter. Surface: 8 / 10 Front: The surface is well-preserved for a vintage issue, with only a few minor print dots and light surface wear.
