A DON ZIMMER from the 1955 TOPPS set, card #1-Apr. This is a great addition to any BROOKLYN DODGERS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This card is in Very Good to Excellent condition. The primary factors limiting the grade are the uniform rounding of all four corners and the moderate off-center alignment on both the front and back. The surface and print quality remain quite strong for a vintage 1954 issue. Centering: 7 / 10 Front: The front displays a strong right-heavy shift, with the left white border being considerably wider than the right. Back: The back centering is significantly misaligned toward the top edge. Corners: 4 / 10 Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening consistent with a mid-grade vintage specimen. Back: The corners on the reverse side mirror the wear seen on the front, with distinct rounding and shelf wear. Edges: 5 / 10 Front: Typical vintage chipping and light fraying are visible along the top and right edges. Back: The back edges show moderate wear and minor chipping, particularly along the bottom edge. Surface: 8 / 10 Front: The surface is generally well-preserved with minor age-toning and light scuffs.
