This 1954 Topps card presents very well for its age. The final grade is influenced by the significant horizontal centering shift on the front and minor corner wear consistent with a mid-century issue. The surfaces and edges remain in excellent condition.

The horizontal centering is noticeably off-center toward the right edge. Vertical alignment shows a mild shift toward the top.
Corners: 6 / 10
The back corners show slightly more visible whitening and rounding than the front, particularly at the bottom edges.

Light chipping and typical shelf wear are present along the perimeter of the reverse side.
Surface: 8 / 10
The back exhibits standard light age-toning but is free from any staining, writing, or major defects.
