This card is in exceptional condition for its age, featuring sharp corners and a very clean surface. However, the final grade is primarily constrained by the off-center horizontal alignment on the front.
Centering: 6 / 10
The front horizontal centering is shifted heavily to the left, while the top and bottom borders are nearly equal.
Corners: 9 / 10
Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for a vintage issue. Only the Top Left corner shows a microscopic touch of softening. Back: Reverse corners are clean and sharp, maintaining the integrity of the card stock.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are crisp with minimal signs of the chipping often associated with this set. Back: Back edges appear smooth and straight with no notable wear.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface maintains great color and gloss. There are a few tiny print dots common to 1969 Topps, but no scratches or creases. Back: The back surface is very clean with no wax stains or ink marks.
