This card is in outstanding condition, displaying sharp corners, exceptional borders, and clean surfaces. Faint micro-wear on the corners and a minor centering deviation on the reverse are the only limiting factors keeping it from a perfect grade.

Front: All four corners are remarkably sharp for a 1978 issue, with only a microscopic trace of soft fiber on the bottom edge points. Back: The reverse corners are incredibly crisp and well-preserved with tiny factory fibers visible only under extreme magnification.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: All four edges are exceptionally clean with none of the typical chipping or rough-cut pixelation common to 1978 Topps stock. Back: The reverse edges show clean factory-cut lines with no noticeable wear or chipping.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is bright and clean with vibrant yellow background print and no visible print lines or scratches. Back: The cardboard stock reverse is clean, free of wax stains, and shows no print defects.
