This 1952 Bowman Clyde King is a very attractive example. It features a bright, clean front surface and strong eye appeal. The final grade is established by the combination of minor corner wear and characteristic roughness found on the back edges, which is typical for this vintage issue.
Centering: 7 / 10
The horizontal centering is excellent, while the vertical centering shows a moderate shift toward the top.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are relatively sharp for a vintage issue, with only minor touches of wear visible on the Bottom Left and Bottom Right corners. Back: The back corners mirror the front, showing very slight rounding consistent with age.
Edges: 6 / 10
The back edges show some moderate roughness and light chipping, particularly along the Top and Right edges.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is exceptional, featuring vibrant colors and a clean finish free of scratches or creases. Back: The back surface is clean and legible, with only the expected light toning of the vintage card stock.
