This vintage 1955 Topps card is limited primarily by the moderate rounding at all four corners. While the horizontal centering is also significantly off-center, the physical wear to the corner tips is the primary factor determining the final condition grade.
Centering: 6 / 10
The front of the card is noticeably shifted toward the left edge. The vertical centering is much closer to balanced, with a slight shift toward the bottom.
Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening consistent with handled vintage stock. The Top Right corner has the most significant wear. Back: The corners on the reverse mirror the front, with softening and rounding apparent at all four points.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: The edges show minor chipping and general wear, particularly along the Top and Right edges. Back: Light chipping and typical age-related toning are visible along all four edges.
Surface: 7 / 10
Front: The surface displays mild age toning and some light scuffing, but no major creases or stains are present in the focal area. Back: The reverse surface shows uniform aging and a few small spots of discoloration, typical for cardboard of this era.
