The grade is heavily restricted by severe left-heavy centering on the front, which has a ratio of approximately 80/20. The corners and edges are in outstanding condition for a 1961 issue, exhibiting only light wear.

The front display is heavily shifted to the left, resulting in a very narrow left-hand border.
Corners: 3 / 10
Top Right corner displays the worst softening with very minor rounding at the tip.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Bottom edge shows light chipping of the paper stock. Back: Left edge near the top shows some minor chipping of the gray cardboard back.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is clean and presents excellent color and registration with no major defects. Back: The reverse surface is clean, displaying minor age-toning but no staining or ink marks.
