This 1954 Topps card is in spectacular physical condition, featuring corners and surfaces that would be right at home on a much higher-grade example. The final assessment is constrained solely by the centering, specifically a heavy vertical shift toward the top edge on the front. Because the centering is the only significant detractor from an otherwise near-flawless vintage card, it carries strong potential for an off-center qualifier.

The top border is quite thin compared to the thick bottom border, creating a significant vertical offset.
Corners: 10 / 10
Front: All four corners appear exceptionally sharp and well-preserved, showing virtually no signs of the rounding typical for this era. Back: The corners on the reverse side are similarly crisp and maintain their original point.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are extremely clean for a vintage issue, with only the slightest hint of natural card stock texture visible under magnification. Back: The edges on the back show minor, expected signs of the original factory cut but remain very sharp.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is excellent, retaining vibrant colors and high gloss with no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The reverse surface is clean and free of any wax stains or age-related foxing.
