This vintage card presents with excellent eye appeal and surface quality, especially for its era. While the front corners and edges are well-preserved, the final grade is constrained by a significant manufacturing miscut on the reverse side, where the left border is nearly absent.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front centering is quite strong for a vintage issue, showing a minor bias toward the top and left. Back: The back is heavily off-center to the left, resulting in a sliver border that indicates a miscut from production.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The top corners show very minor touches of wear consistent with age, while the bottom corners remain sharp and well-defined. Back: Minor softening is visible at the top edges on the reverse, though the bottom corners are in excellent condition.
Edges: 6 / 10
The left edge is extremely thin due to the misalignment, while the other edges show standard vintage wear.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is highly preserved with vibrant colors, a clean NFL logo, and no visible scratches or creases. Back: The reverse side is remarkably clean with no signs of wax stains, writing, or foxing.
