This 1954 Topps card is in high-end condition for its age. The final grade is determined primarily by the significant vertical centering shift on the reverse and minor wear visible on the corners.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front has a moderate shift toward the top and left borders. Back: The back is significantly off-center vertically, with a heavy shift toward the bottom.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: The Top Right corner shows slight rounding and whitening, while the remaining corners exhibit only minor micro-fuzzing. Back: All four corners on the reverse show uniform minor touches of whitening and light wear.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Edges are generally clean for the era, with only a hint of roughness visible along the bottom edge. Back: Very light chipping is visible along the top edge, though the remaining edges are smooth and well-defined.
Surface: 9 / 10
The front surface retains excellent color and gloss, with only faint printing lines visible upon close inspection.
