This 1965 Topps issue is in outstanding condition. It features superb centering and a nearly flawless surface. Only a few microscopic touches on the corner tips prevent it from achieving a higher designation, making it a premier example of this vintage card.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front displays excellent centering with a very minor bias towards the right and bottom edges.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are sharp and clean overall, though a microscopic touch of wear is visible under close inspection on the Top Left and Top Right tips. Back: Minor whitening is visible on the upper corner tips, which is common for card stock of this age.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are extremely clean with no significant chipping or color loss along the borders. Back: The back edges are sharp with only minor natural roughness visible from the original factory cutting process.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is pristine, boasting vibrant colors and an excellent original gloss without any visible scratches or print snow. Back: The back surface is exceptionally clean, showing no signs of wax staining, pen marks, or toning.
