The grade is primarily restricted by the heavy horizontal off-centering on the front of the card. A light horizontal surface scratch on the left side of the player's jersey also limits the overall condition.

Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the left border substantially wider than the right border.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: All four corners are exceptionally sharp for a vintage issue, with only microscopic wear visible on the tips under magnification. Back: The reverse corners are well-preserved and show only the lightest hints of wear, maintaining excellent squareness.
Edges: 7 / 10
Front: The right edge exhibits light vintage rough-cut texture, while the remaining borders are clean and straight. Back: The bottom edge shows minor chipping consistent with age-related wear on vintage card stock.
Surface: 6 / 10
The front surface is bright and glossy, though a light horizontal scratch is visible across the left shoulder area.
