This 1957 Topps Dick Gernert is a high-grade vintage example. While the centering is slightly left-heavy, it is well within the limits for a top-tier grade. The final assessment is primarily limited by minor corner whitening visible under close inspection.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front shows a slight horizontal shift toward the left, while the vertical centering is nearly ideal.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: Minor touches of whitening are present on the Top Right and Bottom Left corners. The other corners are sharp for a vintage issue. Back: Slight whitening and micro-fuzzing are visible on the corners, consistent with natural aging of the card stock.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are generally very clean, showing only minor factory rough-cut texture along the bottom edge. Back: The reverse edges show light chipping, most notably along the top, which is common for this set.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is in excellent condition with vibrant colors and no visible scratches or creases. Back: The reverse surface is clean and well-preserved, with clear text and no significant staining or wax marks.
