This card is a high-end example of the condition-sensitive 1962 Topps set. It features sharp corners and a very clean surface. The final grade is primarily influenced by the vertical centering and the minor edge chipping that is common for this wood-grain border issue.

The image is horizontally centered very well, but there is a clear shift toward the bottom border.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for a card from the early 1960s, with only very minor touches of wear visible on the Top Right and Bottom Right tips. Back: The back corners are well-preserved and maintain their structural integrity with only slight whitening at the tips.
Edges: 8 / 10
The edges are in great condition for this wood-grain set, showing only faint chipping along the Top and Right edges.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is bright and clean, showing only standard minor print snow consistent with vintage production methods. Back: The reverse side is very clean, free of wax stains, marks, or any other surface distractions.
