A DON BOLLWEG from the 1952 TOPPS set, card #128. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK YANKEES collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 3
The final grade is primarily restricted by a prominent horizontal crease that spans the center of the card. Additionally, significant rounding of all four corners and a heavy centering shift toward the top edge contribute to the lower assessment.
Centering: 6 / 10
There is a pronounced vertical shift toward the top edge and a moderate horizontal shift toward the right.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and softening, with the Top Right and Top Left corners exhibiting the most advanced wear. Back: The corners on the reverse side mirror the rounding and wear seen on the front, with visible stock exposure at the tips.
Edges: 5 / 10
Front: The edges show general wear and minor chipping throughout, particularly along the Right edge. Back: Consistent vintage wear is visible along all edges, including several small nicks.
Surface: 2 / 10
A heavy horizontal crease or surface crack runs across the center of the card, passing through the player's neck. Another smaller crease is visible in the upper left background.
