This 1956 Topps card is in exceptional condition. The centering is well within high-grade standards for the era, and the surface retains original gloss and color. The final grade is determined by very minor touches to the corners, particularly at the Top Left.

The left border is slightly narrower than the right, and the image is shifted slightly toward the bottom edge.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Left corner shows a very minor touch of fuzzing. The other three corners remain impressively sharp and well-defined. Back: Minor touches of whitening are visible on the Top Left and Top Right corners of the reverse side.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are extremely clean for the era, showing only the natural rough-cut texture typical of vintage factory production. Back: The reverse edges are smooth and free of significant chipping or fraying.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is remarkably well-preserved with vibrant colors and no visible scratches or creases. Back: The back is clean and free of the common wax or gum stains associated with vintage card stock.
