A DON MOSSI from the 1960 TOPPS set, card #418. This is a great addition to any DETROIT TIGERS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 5
The grade is primarily governed by front vertical centering showing a 70/30 top-to-bottom shift. The corners, edges, and surfaces are exceptionally well preserved for a vintage 1960 issue, exhibiting only light tip wear.
Centering: 7 / 10
Front: Front centering is vertically off-center, with the top border noticeably wider than the bottom border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: Bottom Left corner shows the most wear with light softening at the tip, while the remaining corners remain remarkably sharp for the issue. Back: Top Left corner shows a faint touch of fiber softening, while all other corners maintain crisp structure.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Bottom edge shows the most wear with light vintage cut roughness, but no heavy chipping is present. Back: All edges remain well preserved with only minor natural cardboard fiber roughness.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: The surface is clean and vibrant; flagged lines near the inset action figure are printed design contours rather than damage. Back: The reverse exhibits clean print and natural card stock toning with no wax or gum staining.
