This is a high-quality example of a 1957 Topps card. The final grade is supported by excellent front eye appeal and sharp corners, though it is tempered by the top-heavy centering on the reverse and minor factory edge chatter.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front displays excellent centering for a vintage issue, with only minor deviations from perfect symmetry. Back: The reverse is noticeably shifted toward the top edge, though it remains within acceptable parameters for the era.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are very well-preserved. A minor touch of wear is visible on the Bottom Left corner, with the remaining three appearing sharp. Back: Corners show light fuzzing consistent with vintage card stock, particularly at the Top Left and Bottom Right.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The left edge shows some characteristic factory roughness, while the other edges remain remarkably smooth. Back: Edges are generally clean with very minor shelf wear visible along the bottom and right sides.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is clean and vibrant. Standard print snow is present in the background, which is typical for 1957 Topps production. Back: The reverse surface is well-preserved with no signs of wax staining or heavy scratches.
