This vintage 1955 Bowman card is in Very Good condition. While the centering is quite good for the era, the final grade is primarily limited by the moderate rounding of the corners and several small print defects on the front surface.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front displays a modest left-to-right shift, though it remains well within respectable limits for the era.
Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and softening of the card stock, with the Bottom Left corner showing the most visible wear. Back: The corners on the reverse side mirror the front, displaying significant rounding and fiber wear consistent with its age.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: The edges show minor chipping and light fraying, particularly along the bottom and right edges. Back: Light chipping is visible along the edges of the card back, which is typical for vintage card stock.
Surface: 5 / 10
The front surface has several small dark print marks on the player's face and jersey area, along with minor surface impressions.
