A DON SUTTON from the 1966 TOPPS set, card #288. This is a great addition to any LOS ANGELES DODGERS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 3
While the card possesses exceptional centering for a 1966 issue, the final grade is severely limited by a heavy horizontal crease in the lower section. Combined with moderate corner rounding and edge chipping, the card represents a solid example of the 'Good' condition class.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front displays very strong centering for the era, with only a very minor shift toward the left and top.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and whitening. The Bottom Left corner is particularly impacted by a physical crease extending into the card design. Back: The corners on the reverse exhibit significant wear and rounding consistent with the front, with noticeable paper loss at the corner tips.
Edges: 5 / 10
Front: The edges show widespread chipping and minor indentations, most notably along the Top and Left edges where the dark print meets the border. Back: Considerable wear and light fraying are visible along all four edges of the back side.
Surface: 2 / 10
Front: A heavy horizontal crease is visible running through the lower portion of the card, crossing the 'Dodgers' logo and Bill Singer's photo. General surface wear and light scuffing are also present. Back: The heavy crease is visible from the back, and the card stock shows significant age-related toning and a few small stains near the bottom edge.
