This vintage Ernie Banks card features excellent surface preservation and relatively sharp corners for its age. However, the final grade is primarily limited by the significant centering shift on the front towards the left edge.

The front displays a heavy left-heavy centering shift and a moderate top-heavy orientation.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: Most corners remain quite sharp for the era, with only the Top Left corner showing a microscopic touch of wear. Back: The corners on the reverse show light, natural fuzzing consistent with a vintage issue, particularly at the Top Right.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are clean overall, with only a few minor instances of chipping visible along the Left border. Back: Minor edge wear is present along the Top and Left edges, which is typical for 1960s card stock.
Surface: 9 / 10
The surface maintains excellent color and gloss with only minor print snow common to this set. No creases are present.
