A FLOYD BAKER from the 1952 TOPPS set, card #292. This is a great addition to any WASHINGTON SENATORS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 2
The final grade is primarily determined by the physical hole punched through the card stock, which is a major structural defect. This, combined with heavy corner rounding and significant edge wear, results in a Poor condition assessment.
Centering: 7 / 10
The horizontal centering is shifted toward the left, creating an uneven border balance. The vertical centering is quite good for the era.
Corners: 2 / 10
Front: All four corners show heavy rounding and significant whitening. The Top Left corner is further impacted by a physical hole through the stock. Back: The back corners mirror the heavy wear on the front, with significant rounding and loss of color.
Edges: 2 / 10
Front: Moderate chipping and fraying are visible along all four edges. The top edge is compromised by the presence of a punch hole. Back: Edges show significant wear and age-related toning, with visible chipping along the left and right sides.
Surface: 1 / 10
Front: There is a physical diamond-shaped hole punched through the upper portion of the card. The surface also shows heavy age-toning and multiple light scratches. Back: The punch hole is clearly visible through the card back. The surface shows heavy browning and general wear consistent with its age.
