This 1957 Topps Frank Thomas is a classic vintage card in Very Good-Excellent condition. While the centering and surface have held up quite well, the final grade is limited by moderate rounding and whitening on the corners, which is typical for a card of this era.
Centering: 9 / 10
Horizontal centering is shifted toward the left edge, while vertical alignment is centered.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: The Bottom Left corner exhibits moderate rounding and visible whitening. The other three corners show softer wear and minor blunting consistent with age. Back: The corners on the reverse show similar rounding and whitening, particularly on the corners corresponding to the bottom of the card.
Edges: 7 / 10
Front: The edges show minor chipping and age-related toning but remain straight without major indentations. Back: There is light chipping and shelf wear visible along the edges on the back.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: The front surface presents well with strong color. There is light surface wear visible under close inspection, but no major creases. Back: The reverse shows standard age-toning but is free of heavy staining or ink marks.
