This 1954 Topps issue is in superb condition, characterized by vibrant colors and a clean surface. The overall grade is limited to a Near Mint-Mint range primarily due to minor touches on the upper corners and a slight top-heavy centering shift.
Centering: 9 / 10
The front displays a slight left-to-right shift and a noticeable top-heavy orientation.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: Minor touches of wear are visible on the Top Left and Top Right corners. The bottom corners remain relatively sharp. Back: Slight whitening and micro-fuzz are present at the Top Left and Top Right corners, consistent with typical storage wear.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are remarkably clean for a vintage issue, with only trace chipping visible along the Left edge. Back: Light natural aging and minor roughness are visible along the Top and Right edges.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The card retains excellent color and gloss. The clean on-card autograph is well-placed and does not detract from the surface quality. Back: The reverse surface shows uniform vintage toning but is free of any creases, wax stains, or significant blemishes.
