The grade is primarily defined by the corner and edge condition. The corners show moderate rounding and whitening, which limits the technical grade. However, the centering is excellent for a 1959 issue, and the overall eye appeal remains strong.

The front centering is quite strong for the era, with a slight shift toward the right border.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: The Bottom Left corner shows moderate rounding and whitening. The remaining corners show varying degrees of softening consistent with a mid-grade vintage card. Back: All four corners on the back show visible touches and shelf wear.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: The edges show minor chipping and light wear, particularly along the left side. Back: The reverse edges show light fraying and typical rough-cut characteristics.
Surface: 6 / 10
The back surface shows minor age-toning and small dark spots, common for this set.
