This 1957 Topps Gene Conley is a strong mid-grade example. The final grade is primarily limited by corner wear and chipping along the edges, along with moderate centering shifts. The surface remains vibrant and free of the common creases often found in cards from this period.

The front displays a moderate horizontal shift with the left border appearing thicker than the right.
Corners: 6 / 10
Front: The Top Left and Bottom Right corners show minor touches of whitening and slight rounding consistent with vintage wear. Back: Fuzziness and visible whitening are present on the Top Right and Bottom Right corners.
Edges: 7 / 10
Front: The Left edge shows minor chipping and shelf wear, while the other edges remain relatively clean. Back: Slight roughness is visible along the Top edge, typical for card stock of this era.
Surface: 8 / 10
The surface is generally clean with some minor print snow in the darker areas of the image; no major scratches or creases are observed.
