This 1959 Topps Gene Conley is in fantastic condition. The grade is primarily capped by the vertical centering on the front. Otherwise, the card boasts sharp corners, clean edges, and vibrant surface colors that far exceed the typical condition for this vintage issue.
Centering: 9 / 10
The vertical centering on the front is shifted toward the bottom, though horizontal centering is nearly ideal.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for a vintage card, with only minor touches of wear on the Top Right and Bottom Right corners. Back: The reverse corners show consistent minor whitening at the tips, but they retain their overall structure well.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges show very light natural roughness along the Top edge, typical of a factory-cut vintage card. Back: The back edges are clean and straight with very little evidence of chipping or shelf wear.
Surface: 9 / 10
The front surface is bright with bold colors and no significant scratches or print defects.
