This 1961 Topps Gene Green is a high-quality vintage example with excellent eye appeal and sharp registration. The surfaces and edges are remarkably well-preserved for the era. The final grade is primarily limited by the centering on both the front and back, as well as minor corner wear.
Centering: 7 / 10
The front displays a moderate horizontal shift toward the left edge, while vertical centering is quite good.
Corners: 7 / 10
Front: The Top Left and both bottom corners show micro-wear and very slight touches. The Top Right corner remains sharp. Back: All four corners on the back show minor age-related fuzziness consistent with the front.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Edges are generally clean with some minor rough-cut texture typical of the production era. Back: The back edges are well-preserved with only minor shelf wear and slight toning.
Surface: 8 / 10
The back shows natural age-toning and mild foxing but is otherwise free of stains or marks.
