The technical grade is limited by a severe factory miscut on the top edge of the front. While the corners, edges, and surface preservation are high enough for a much better grade, the clipped text is a primary condition flaw that necessitates a lower final assessment.
Centering: 3 / 10
The front is significantly off-center toward the top, causing the team name to be partially clipped by the cut edge.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The top corners exhibit very minor touches of wear. The bottom corners are remarkably sharp for a 1972 issue. Back: Small amounts of whitening are visible on the top corners, while the bottom two corners remain clean.
Edges: 8 / 10
Edges are generally clean with only slight, era-appropriate roughness visible on the right side.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is exceptionally clean with vibrant colors and no visible creases or scratches. Back: The back surface is free of any staining or wax marks, showing original stock texture.
