This vintage George Kell card is graded based on moderate corner rounding and edge wear. While the centering is excellent and the front surface remains quite attractive, the physical deterioration at the corners and the staining on the reverse limit the overall grade.
Centering: 10 / 10
Front: The full-bleed photograph is centered perfectly on the card stock. Back: The blank back is symmetrically aligned with the physical edges.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: The Bottom Left corner shows moderate rounding and visible wear. The other three corners show minor softening and touches of whitening. Back: Consistent rounding is present across all four corners, matching the wear seen on the front.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: The edges show light chipping and minor fraying, which is typical for vintage card stock of this era. Back: Minor nicks and shelf wear are visible along the perimeter, particularly on the left and right sides.
Surface: 6 / 10
The blank reverse shows significant age-related toning and some areas of dark spotting or foxing.
