Despite having high-quality edges, corners, and surface for a 1950s issue, the grade is heavily limited by a severe factory miscut. The bottom of the card includes a portion of the design from the adjacent card on the original print sheet.
Centering: 3 / 10
The front is significantly shifted toward the top left and features a miscut at the bottom where the design repeats.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Left corner shows minor rounding and light softening. The bottom corners remain relatively sharp. Back: The corners on the reverse show standard light touches consistent with vintage cardboard, primarily at the Top Right.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are surprisingly clean for the era, with only very minor shelf wear visible on the Right edge. Back: All four edges on the reverse appear straight with minimal chipping.
Surface: 8 / 10
The surface is clean with good color, though some minor print snow and a tiny fleck near the player's hat are present.
