A GINO CIMOLI from the 1959 TOPPS set, card #418. This is a great addition to any ST. LOUIS CARDINALS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 7
This card presents in excellent condition, characterized by exceptionally sharp corners and edges that are rare for a vintage issue. The final grade is primarily determined by a common vertical print defect on the front surface and a moderate leftward centering bias.
Centering: 7 / 10
The horizontal alignment is moderately shifted to the left, which is typical for vintage issues. The vertical centering is excellent.
Corners: 10 / 10
Front: All four corners are remarkably sharp and well-preserved, retaining their original shape with no visible wear. Back: The corners on the reverse side are clean and sharp, showing no evidence of rounding or whitening.
Edges: 9 / 10
The reverse edges are very well-maintained, exhibiting only the slightest trace of natural aging.
Surface: 7 / 10
The surface maintains a high level of gloss and clarity, though a thin vertical print line is visible running through the center of the image.
