This vintage cigarette silk is in outstanding condition. While the surface and centering are nearly perfect, the grade is slightly limited by the natural, minor fraying found at the woven corners and edges.
Centering: 10 / 10
Front: The central emblem and text are perfectly aligned with the edges of the silk. Back: The reverse centering is consistent with the front alignment.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners exhibit minor natural fraying typical of vintage fabric items, though they remain structurally sound. Back: The reverse corners show slight loose threads consistent with the front's condition.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The woven edges are largely intact with only very minor thread separation along the Top and Bottom edges. Back: Edges on the reverse show standard manufacturing texture for a cigarette silk.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The silk surface is remarkably well-preserved with no visible staining or damage to the woven design. Back: The back is clean and free of any age-related foxing or stains.
