A GRADY HATTON from the 1955 TOPPS set, card #131. This is a great addition to any BOSTON RED SOX collection.

The final grade is primarily limited by the condition of the corners. Specifically, the moderate rounding and whitening on the Bottom Left corner bring the technical assessment down to a Very Good-Excellent level. While the surface and edges are remarkably well-preserved for a mid-1950s issue, the corner wear is the deciding factor for the final grade.

The front of the card shows a noticeable shift toward the right, while the top and bottom borders are nearly equal.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: The Bottom Left corner shows moderate rounding and whitening. The other three corners show minor touches of wear and slight fuzziness. Back: The corners on the reverse side show wear consistent with the front, particularly the rounded corner in the lower right area.
Edges: 7 / 10
Front: The edges show minor chipping and the typical roughness associated with vintage card stock. Back: Light perimeter wear is visible, consistent with the age of the card.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is clean and free of creases or major scratches, showing only mild age-related toning. Back: The reverse surface is well-preserved with a uniform appearance and no significant defects.
