This 1960 Topps Hal Smith is in excellent condition. Its final grade is established by the horizontal centering on the front and very minor wear to the corners, while the surfaces and edges remain top-tier for the era.
Centering: 7 / 10
The front centering displays a noticeable shift toward the left edge and a minor shift toward the bottom.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The corners are quite sharp for the era, though the Bottom Right corner shows a very minor touch of wear. Back: Minor touches of whitening are visible on the corner tips of the reverse side.
Edges: 8 / 10
The reverse edges show slight roughness consistent with age, particularly along the top.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is excellent with strong colors. The vintage autograph is neatly applied and does not factor into the condition grade. Back: The back surface is exceptionally clean with no staining or structural defects.
