This vintage Harry Byrd card is in Excellent-Mint condition. It boasts strong eye appeal with sharp corners and a clean surface. The final grade is primarily determined by the centering shift on both the front and back.
Centering: 7 / 10
Front: The front displays a moderate shift toward the bottom right corner. Back: The reverse centering is shifted significantly toward the right edge.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Right corner shows a micro-touch of wear. The other three corners remain quite sharp for the era. Back: There is minor whitening visible on the Top Left and Bottom Left corners.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Minor chipping is visible along the Top edge, which is common for this vintage issue. Back: The Bottom edge shows light signs of wear.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is very clean with excellent color preservation and no visible scratches. Back: The back surface shows natural age-appropriate toning but is free of any stains or creases.
