A HARRY ELLIOTT from the 1955 TOPPS set, card #137. This is a great addition to any ST. LOUIS CARDINALS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 5
The card's grade is strictly limited by the heavy off-center alignment of the front borders, which shift distinctly to the right. Aside from this centering deviation, the corners, edges, and surfaces are in exemplary condition for a mid-1950s card.
Centering: 6 / 10
Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the left border substantially wider than the right border.
Corners: 4 / 10
The back corners are beautifully preserved, displaying only very minor fiber softening at the tips of the top corners.
Edges: 8 / 10
The back edges are clean with only minor factory cut roughness.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is bright and glossy with vivid colors and no notable scratches or print defects. Back: The back surface is clean and free of any wax staining or age degradation.
