A HOBIE LANDRITH from the 1956 TOPPS set, card #314. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO CUBS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 5
Significant left-to-right centering bias on the front combined with a light horizontal print line across the midsection limits the overall grade despite remarkably well-preserved corners and edges.
Centering: 6 / 10
Front: Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the right border substantially wider than the left border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners maintain exceptionally sharp structure for vintage stock, showing only light fiber softening at the tips. Back: All four corners are clean and well-defined with only minor handling fuzz.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Edges remain crisp with only light factory cut roughness consistent with vintage cardboard. Back: The perimeter edges are clean and intact with light, uniform vintage wear.
Surface: 6 / 10
Front: A faint horizontal roller or print line traverses the midsection through the nameplate and portrait. Back: The reverse surface is clean and clear with natural vintage stock toning and no structural defects.
