This vintage 1901 issue shows significant physical wear appropriate for its age. The grade is primarily limited by the moderate rounding of all four corners and a surface mark near the top edge.
Centering: 7 / 10
Front: The front display is shifted toward the bottom and right edges. Back: The back text box is relatively well-centered with a slight shift toward the top.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners show moderate to heavy rounding and significant softening of the card stock. Back: The corners on the reverse show rounding and wear consistent with the front.
Edges: 5 / 10
Front: The edges exhibit noticeable chipping and shelf wear, particularly along the top and right borders. Back: The edges show moderate fraying and age-related wear around the perimeter.
Surface: 4 / 10
A visible vertical mark or light crease is present near the top center, and the black border shows general scuffing.
