This card presents in Very Good condition. While the centering and surface quality are strong for a 1953 issue, the grade is limited by the moderate rounding of the corners and the chipping visible along the edges.
Centering: 9 / 10
The horizontal centering is excellent, while the top border is slightly thicker than the bottom.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners exhibit moderate rounding and light whitening typical of handled vintage stock. Back: The corners on the reverse show similar rounding and softness to the front.
Edges: 6 / 10
Front: The edges show minor roughness and small nicks, particularly along the left and bottom sides. Back: Consistent light wear and tiny chips are visible along the perimeter of the reverse side.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: The color remains vibrant and the image is clear, with only very faint surface scuffs visible upon close inspection. Back: The back surface is clean with no staining or writing, showing only natural age-related toning.
