A JAKE STRIKER from the 1960 TOPPS set, card #169. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO WHITE SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 7 This 1960 Topps Jake Striker is a high-end example for the grade. Its primary strengths are the exceptional centering and clean surface. The grade is limited to a 7 due to minor whitening on the corner tips and slight edge chipping common for this vintage. Centering: 9 / 10 Centering is excellent across both axes with very little deviation. Corners: 7 / 10 Front: The Top Right and Bottom Right corners show light touches of whitening. The Top Left corner has a faint micro-touch, while the Bottom Left corner is sharp. Back: All four corners on the reverse side show minor whitening at the tips, typical for vintage cardboard stock. Edges: 8 / 10 Front: The Top edge exhibits minor chipping and roughness common in 1960s issues, while the other three edges appear quite clean. Back: The edges on the back are generally smooth with only slight instances of shelf wear along the right side. Surface: 9 / 10 Front: The surface is clean with no creases or scratches. Minor print spotting is visible in the blue background, which is a standard print defect for this set. Back: The back surface is bright and free of any wax stains, writing, or major defects.
