A AL DARK from the 1957 TOPPS set, card #98. This is a great addition to any ST. LOUIS CARDINALS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 8 This is a superb example of a 1957 vintage baseball card. The overall condition is highlighted by sharp corners and a clean surface on both sides. The final grade is limited to a high-end Near Mint-Mint specimen due to a minor touch on one corner and typical vintage centering. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The centering on the front is well-balanced, leaning slightly toward the top and right edges. Back: The reverse centering is shifted toward the right side. Corners: 8 / 10 The corners are remarkably sharp for the era; only the Bottom Left corner shows a microscopic touch of wear. Edges: 9 / 10 Front: The edges are extremely well-preserved with straight cuts and no significant chipping. Back: The edges on the back side are crisp and show no evidence of fraying or wear. Surface: 9 / 10 The surface is clean with strong original colors and no creases. Some minor natural print graininess is visible, which is typical for this issue.
