A JERRY STALEY from the 1957 TOPPS set, card #227. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO WHITE SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 3 The final grade is primarily determined by the moderate rounding found on all four corners and the visible edge wear around the perimeter. While the surface is relatively clean for a vintage card, the combined wear and the significant centering shift on the reverse limit the overall condition to a Very Good to Excellent range. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The front displays a moderate leftward horizontal shift and a slight top-heavy vertical orientation. Back: The reverse is severely off-center, shifted heavily toward the right edge. Corners: 3 / 10 Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening consistent with age. Back: The corners on the reverse show similar rounding and shelf wear to the front corners. Edges: 4 / 10 The edges on the back exhibit significant wear and chipping, most notably on the thin right border.
