A JOHN BATEMAN from the 1966 TOPPS VENEZUELAN set, card #86. This is a great addition to any HOUSTON ASTROS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 3 While the card boasts excellent centering, the grade is significantly limited by heavy rounding and wear on the corners, particularly the Top Right. Additional ink-like surface marks on the portrait further impact the final assessment. Centering: 9 / 10 The front horizontal centering shows a very slight preference toward the right, while vertical centering is virtually spot-on. Corners: 2 / 10 The Top Right corner shows significant rounding and paper loss. The other three corners exhibit moderate rounding and visible whitening. Edges: 5 / 10 Front: The Right edge shows visible chipping and whitening. Minor fraying is also present along the Top edge. Back: Whitening and chipping are evident along the top and left edges of the reverse side. Surface: 5 / 10 Several small blue ink marks are scattered across the player's face and cheek area.
