This card is technically in poor condition due to a major structural crease running across the center. While the centering is quite good for a 1948 issue, the combination of heavy corner rounding and the prominent surface damage limits the overall grade.

The front centering is quite respectable for the era, showing a slight shift toward the right edge.
Corners: 3 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and visible whitening of the card stock. Back: The reverse corners mirror the front with heavy rounding and age-related wear.
Edges: 4 / 10
Front: Consistent chipping and minor fraying are visible along all four edges, most notably on the right edge. Back: The edges on the reverse show moderate wear and darkening consistent with the card's age.
Surface: 2 / 10
A severe horizontal crease runs through the center of the card, crossing the player's chest and the basketball. Significant age-toning and various small scratches are also present.
