This vintage classic is limited primarily by its corners, which show major rounding and bluntness. While the centering is excellent for a 1948 issue and the surface is free of major creases, the structural wear on the corners and edges places it in a lower condition bracket.
Centering: 9 / 10
Front: The front displays very solid centering with only a slight horizontal shift toward the right edge. Back: The back text is centered well horizontally but shows a moderate shift toward the bottom edge.
Corners: 2 / 10
Front: All four corners show significant rounding and heavy wear to the paper stock, typical of a well-handled vintage card. Back: The back corners mirror the heavy rounding seen on the front, with visible stock exposure and bluntness.
Edges: 4 / 10
Front: The edges show uniform chipping and minor fraying, particularly noticeable along the right and bottom sides. Back: Moderate wear and chipping are visible along all four edges of the back.
Surface: 5 / 10
Front: The surface displays light scuffing and small white scratches in the blue field, along with general age-related toning. Back: The back shows natural yellowing from age and a few minor spots of foxing, though the text remains perfectly legible.
