A LUKE APPLING from the 1960 TOPPS set, card #461. This is a great addition to any DETROIT TIGERS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 9 This is an outstanding example of a vintage 1961 card. It maintains exceptional corner sharpness and great front-side centering. The final grade is slightly limited by the centering shift on the reverse and minor edge roughness common to the era. Centering: 9 / 10 The front centering is excellent for the era, with the image sitting slightly lower than true center. Corners: 9 / 10 The corners on the reverse are very strong, with only a microscopic touch of wear visible on the Top Left corner. Edges: 8 / 10 The back edges show some minor roughness and light chipping typical of 1960s card stock. Surface: 9 / 10 Front: The surface is clean and bright with very minor print snow in the yellow background, which is common for this set. Back: The back surface is well-preserved with clear, legible text and no visible staining or creasing. Please pay for multiple cards in ONE payment.
