Graded by Mint Condition: 8 This 1955 Topps Mayo Smith is in excellent condition for its era. The primary factor limiting the grade is the minor touches of wear on the top corners and the moderate centering shift. The surface and edges are extremely well-preserved. Centering: 9 / 10 The front displays a consistent shift toward the top and left borders, though it remains well within acceptable limits for a high-grade vintage card. Corners: 8 / 10 Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show very minor touches of wear. The Bottom corners remain sharp and well-defined. Back: Minor whitening is visible on the Top Right corner. The other three corners appear clean. Edges: 9 / 10 The edges are remarkably clean for their age, with only a few tiny nicks along the Top edge. Surface: 10 / 10 Front: The front surface is bright and clear of any scratches or print defects. The facsimile signature is part of the original design and is crisp.
